Google Malaysia is committed to continue talks and enhance cooperation with Communications and Digital Ministry (KKD) on media and regulatory issues involving the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
Its minister Fahmi Fadzil said this was discussed during a meeting with Google Malaysia team, among others issues involving the ministry and related agencies.
“During the discussion, several issues were raised including media and surveillance related issues involving MCMC.
“Google has stated that they are prepared and committed to continue discussions and enhance cooperation with the ministry and other related agencies,” he said.
