Larger-than-life performer and entertainer Tom Jones transported the audience at the World Trade Centre Merdeka Hall to a nostalgic time with his evergreen hits such as “Delilah,” “It’s Not Unusual,” and “Green, Green Grass of Home.”

Fans were awe struck when Tom belted out the popular What’s New Pussycat and Sexbomb, the more upbeat number from the Welsh singer who rose to fame in 60s.

The legendary icon kicked off his Ages & Stages tour landing Kuala Lumpur on March 6 to a packed hall.

Now known as Sir Thomas Jones Woodward OBE 84, saw his career begin with a string of top 10 hits in the 1960s and has since toured regularly, with appearances in Las Vegas from 1967 to 2011. His voice has been described by AllMusic as a “full-throated, robust baritone”

While no undergarments were thrown on stage in KL, Tom Jones of the yesteryears often had women throwing their inner attires on stage to most of his heart melting numbers.
