Delux Holdings (M) Sdn Bhd is collaborating with local contemporary artist, Professor Zulkifli Yusoff, to elevate Malaysian art, setting a new benchmark for enhancing creativity and competitiveness within the autogate and security door manufacturing industry.
Combining the finesse of creative arts with industrial manufacturing technology, Delux and Prof Zulkifli have organised an exhibition called Secret Garden to showcase eight pieces masterpieces on a powder-coated aluminium base.
The limited-edition pieces by Prof Zulkifli offer a fresh and innovative approach compared to the traditional canvas medium.
“This exhibition has been two years in the making, and it brings us so much pride to see it finally come to life,” Delux Founder and Chief Executive Officer Datuk Dylan Chui said.
He added that through this collaboration, Delux aims to breathe new life into the trackless autogate and security door industry by setting a benchmark as the first to partner with a Malaysian contemporary artist in this field.
Prof Zulkifli, meanwhile, said the collaboration between the industry and the artist represents a mutual turning point as it marks the beginning of changes and new developments for both the artist and the industry while creating and exploring more possibilities.
The collaboration exhibition is ongoing from now until Feb 12 at the Delux Flagship Store, open daily from 10am to 6pm. It will be closed for Chinese New Year from Jan 25 to Feb 2 and entrance for the exhibition is free.
