China has given its latest manufacturing data right before the long Lunar New Year holidays, the purchasing managers’ index (PMI) for non-manufacturing sector came in at 50.2 in January, down from 52.2 in December, official data showed Monday.

Most factories will be closed for at least two weeks for the long holiday break but usually record high orders before the shutdown.
