CIGA Design is pushing watchmaking into uncharted territory with the Moon Walker Automatic Watch. The timepiece reimagines how we tell time, featuring a miniature astronaut that glides across a sculpted lunar dial—a blend of Swiss engineering and a tribute to humanity’s first steps on the Moon.
On 21 July 1969, Neil Armstrong’s footprint on the Sea of Tranquillity marked humanity’s first step beyond Earth.
The Moon Walker commemorates that moment. Beneath a curved sapphire crystal, the astronaut moves as if weightless, capturing the spirit of exploration. At its core, a Swiss-made movement with CIGA Design’s Asynchronous-Follow Technology ensures a smooth, precise display of time.
The dial recreates the Moon’s surface in striking detail, using NASA’s high-resolution images and precise CNC micro-engraving. Craters, ridges, and hidden Easter eggs—Armstrong’s footprint, Apollo 11 coordinates, and touchdown time—are visible under magnification.
Made from lightweight titanium with a seamless lugless design, the watch is durable yet elegant. Polished 3D indices, curved sapphire crystal, and an engraved case back featuring Armstrong’s words add subtle sophistication. A black fluororubber strap with a hidden clasp ensures comfort, making it suitable for everyday wear or special occasions.
The Moon Walker is more than a watch—it celebrates human courage and exploration. Priced at MYR 7,890, it’s available at Red Army Watches in Pavilion KL, 1 Utama, or online, offering enthusiasts a chance to own a piece of history.
