A new art showcase has taken over key spaces in Kuala Lumpur’s financial district, turning a routine visit into something more visual. To mark World Art Day, Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur has teamed up with Tun Razak Exchange to launch a month-long exhibition that puts Malaysian rainforest-inspired art front and centre.
Titled Flora & Fauna of the Malaysian Rainforest, the showcase is part of the TRX Canvas Collective and brings together a mix of established and emerging local artists.
Running from April 15, 2026, the exhibition spans across Anjung @ TRX and several high-traffic areas within the hotel, including the Arrival Lobby, The Living Room and Tuai + Till. The result is less a formal gallery and more an art trail woven into everyday spaces.
The exhibition builds on the hotel’s “Botanics Beyond Aesthetics” concept, which draws from Malaysia’s rainforest landscapes. That theme carries through the artworks, with pieces focusing on native flora and fauna while reflecting broader environmental narratives.
From a total of 111 submissions, selected works highlight the diversity of interpretations coming out of the local creative scene.
Beyond the visuals, the collaboration signals a wider push to position TRX as more than a commercial hub. The artworks are also available for purchase, adding a commercial layer that directly supports participating artists.
