The Met Gala returned to New York City on Monday, 4 May 2026, and Chopard had a clear presence on the red carpet.
Beyoncé, Sabrina Carpenter, Emma Chamberlain, Georgina Rodríguez, Liu Wen, Rauw Alejandro, Amelia Gray and Yseult all wore pieces from the house, with a focus on diamonds, white gold and high jewellery designed for impact under flash photography.
Beyoncé leaned into scale and detail. Her look included a white Fairmined gold necklace set with a 6.41-carat brilliant-cut diamond and 140 carats of diamonds, paired with a bracelet featuring two emerald-cut diamonds weighing 21 and 14.7 carats.
She also wore a cuff bracelet from the 2026 Red Carpet Collection set with a large emerald cabochon and multiple diamond cuts, along with diamond earrings from the Precious Lace Collection. The overall effect was layered, but tightly controlled around statement stones.
Sabrina Carpenter went for structure and symmetry. She wore diamond earrings in white gold and layered two Haute Joaillerie necklaces totalling over 100 carats of diamonds, styled to sit over her dress rather than disappear into it. Ice Cube Collection rings completed the look, keeping the focus on clean lines and repetition of shape.
Emma Chamberlain’s styling introduced more contrast. She combined yellow diamond earrings with additional white diamond pieces, then added a ring centred on a 4.91-carat purple sapphire. The mix of colour and cut gave her jewellery a more experimental feel while staying within a high jewellery framework.
Georgina Rodríguez wore some of the most significant diamonds of the night. Her earrings featured a 25-carat D-flawless pear-shaped diamond alongside a 6.41-carat brilliant-cut diamond, with a matching ring set around a 20-carat cushion-cut stone. All pieces came from The Garden of Kalahari Collection and focused on clarity and size rather than embellishment.
Liu Wen kept things pared back. Her earrings from the Haute Joaillerie Collection featured 26.82 carats of diamonds, paired with delicate rings from the Precious Lace Collection. The styling was minimal, relying on proportion rather than layering.
Rauw Alejandro incorporated jewellery and watchmaking in one look. He wore a diamond-set white gold watch from the L’Heure du Diamant Collection, along with matching earrings and Ice Cube rings. The overall direction was geometric and precise, with an emphasis on repetition and clean design.
Amelia Gray took a more unconventional route. Her earrings combined aquamarines and an unusually high volume of pearls, paired with a black diamond ring. The contrast between soft colour and dark stone gave her look a more directional edge compared with traditional diamond styling.
Yseult closed the group with a mix of pearls, amethysts and diamonds. Her earrings featured large cultured pearls alongside coloured stones and diamond accents, while her ring centred on a 6.42-carat cushion-cut diamond. It was a blend of texture and structure, balancing softer materials with a defined centre stone.
The result across the board was consistent: Chopard used the Met Gala to showcase scale, clarity and craftsmanship, with each guest interpreting high jewellery in a different direction rather than following a single styling formula.
