Auro Holdings Bhd will be reclassified from the Industrial Products & Services sector to the Consumer Products & Services sector under Bursa Malaysia Securities’ sector classification framework.
In a statement, Bursa Malaysia said the change will take effect from 9am on July 13, 2026, with Auro moving from the Wood & Wood Products sub-sector to the Food & Beverages sub-sector.
“The reclassification was made at the company’s request and was based on factors including changes in business activities and the contribution of its core business to financial performance,” it added.
Despite the sector migration, Auro’s stock code and trading short name will remain unchanged.
The move signals a significant shift in Auro’s operational profile, aligning its Bursa classification with its current core business activities and earnings drivers.
