AIZO Group Bhd has strengthened its construction order book after its wholly owned subsidiary, AIZO Construction Sdn Bhd, secured a RM9.09 million sub-contract for road and drainage works supporting a transit-oriented development (TOD) project in Cheras, Selangor.
The contract was awarded by Xense Design Sdn Bhd, acting on behalf of Esan Juta Sdn Bhd, for infrastructure works at Lot 33925, Mukim Cheras, Daerah Hulu Langat.
The proposed TOD project comprises three blocks of serviced apartments with 2,796 units, alongside related ancillary components.
The scope of works covers road and drainage infrastructure, which will support site accessibility, development readiness and long-term functionality of the high-density urban project.
The contract commenced on June 18, 2026, and is scheduled for completion by Aug 17, 2027.
AIZO Executive Director Ahmad Rahizal Datuk Ahmad Rasidi said the contract is expected to support AIZO’s earnings contribution for the financial year ending June 30, 2027, while strengthening its position in infrastructure works for urban and transit-linked developments.
