Advancecon Bags RM121 Million Earthwork Contract For Negeri Sembilan Data Centre Project

Advancecon Holdings Berhad has secured a RM121.7 million subcontract to undertake earthworks and associated works for an off-river storage (ORS) facility supporting a data centre water supply scheme in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan.

The construction and earthworks specialist said its wholly owned subsidiary, Advancecon Infra Sdn. Bhd. (AISB), accepted the Letter of Award (LOA) on July 10 from the project’s main contractor.

Under the agreement, AISB will carry out the construction and completion of earthworks and related works for the ORS component of the proposed water supply scheme, which is designed to deliver 65 million litres of water per day to support a data centre development located at Lot 21248, Mukim Linggi, Port Dickson.

The subcontract is valued at RM121.66 million and is scheduled for completion within 30 months from the issuance of written instructions for mobilisation and commencement of physical works.

Advancecon said the customer is an established Malaysian construction company with more than 30 years of industry experience, having undertaken several major infrastructure projects, including the PKNS Cyber Valley development, the Rasau Raw Water Treatment Plant pipeline project and finishing works for the MRT Line 2 project in Cyberjaya.
