Hong Kong travellers will have more options for short regional escapes this autumn as StarCruises brings Star Voyager back to the city for a seasonal cruise programme running from September 30 to November 13, 2026, which is currently open for booking.
The ship will depart from Ocean Terminal in central Hong Kong, offering travellers direct access to cruise routes without the need for flights. The seasonal programme includes two-, three- and five-night itineraries to destinations across Asia, covering the region’s busy travel period, including Golden Week.
The autumn schedule features cruises to Xiamen, Kaohsiung and Penghu, as well as Okinawa routes with stops at Miyakojima, Ishigaki and Naha. These shorter sailings are aimed at travellers looking for regional holidays that fit within a few days.
For those seeking a quick break, the two-night High Seas Cruise will continue with Friday evening departures and Sunday afternoon returns. The format allows guests to take a short trip without arranging international flights or using extended leave.
Star Voyager will also offer a five-night one-way relocation cruise from Hong Kong to Singapore in November. The route includes stops in Vietnam, including Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City, before ending in Singapore.
The return of Star Voyager comes as cruise travel continues to gain popularity among regional travellers seeking more convenient holiday options. Departing from a major city port allows passengers to combine international travel with the ease of a nearby departure point.
