The Board of Directors of PRG Holdings Berhad announces a series of Board and executive leadership changes as part of the Company’s ongoing leadership transition.
As part of these changes, the Board has appointed Mr. Steven Kang as Group Managing Director and Executive Director of the Company. Mr. Kang currently serves as the Managing Director of the Group’s energy efficiency business and brings extensive experience in energy efficiency, green buildings, data centres, HVAC systems, business development and technical advisory.
The Board also appointed Ms. Shahjanaz binti Datuk Kamaruddin as Director of the Company. A qualified lawyer with extensive experience in legal and company secretarial roles within leading Government-Linked Companies, Ms. Shahjanaz is presently an Independent Non-Executive Director of Hextar Industries and Partner at the law firm Azlin Shaharbi and Associates. She began her career at Golden Hope Plantations before moving to Malaysia Airlines, where she held various key positions including Group Counsel and Company Secretary.
Mr. Andrew Chan Lim-Fai informed the Board on 6 July 2026 that he will be stepping down from the position of Group Managing Director and Executive Director of the Company, in the best interest of the Company. The Board accepted Mr. Chan’s resignation and wishes to place on record its sincere appreciation for his contributions and service to the Group during his tenure. Mr. Chan is now facilitating an orderly transition of responsibilities to his successor. The Board wishes him every success in his future endeavours.
The Board affirms that the independent review by PKF Covenant Equity Consulting Sdn. Bhd. will continue without interruption and in accordance with its approved mandate. The Board remains committed to allowing the review to run its course independently and will make the appropriate announcements upon its completion, as required under Bursa Malaysia’s Listing Requirements
