RHB Now Allows Businesses To Accept Digital Payments Directly Into Their Accounts

RHB Bank Bhd has rolled out RHB PAY, enabling businesses to accept multiple digital payment methods through one platform and have the proceeds credited directly into their RHB accounts.

Described as Malaysia’s first bank-owned unified online payment gateway, the platform offers card payments, FPX and DuitNow Pay through a single integration.

RHB Group Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer Datuk Mohd Rashid Mohamad said the service provides bank-grade security, automated reconciliation, improved cash-flow visibility and faster access to funds.

“The platform gives businesses greater control over their payments and cash flows while offering added assurance over the security of their funds and data,” he added, while highlighting that RHB PAY is aimed at mid-sized enterprises, commercial businesses, corporations and government-related institutions.

Moving forward, Rashid said the bank plans to introduce e-wallets, QR payments, Direct Debit and Auto Debit in the platform’s second phase, targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026.

The launch comes as Malaysia’s digital payment sector continues to expand, with e-payment transactions rising 25% to 18.4 billion in 2025 from 14.7 billion a year earlier.
