Paramount Corporation Berhad has appointed Datuk Mark Victor Rozario as its Independent Non-Executive Director, effective 10 August 2026.
Rozario, 62, brings more than three decades of corporate and leadership experience across various industries, including property, oil and gas, financial services and technology.
He began his career in 1986 as an auditor with KPMG in the United Kingdom before joining Schlumberger Limited in 1992 as Controller for its East Asia division.
He returned to Malaysia in 1997 and joined Sunway Group as Group Chief Financial Officer, subsequently serving as Executive Director of Sunway Holdings Incorporated Berhad, now known as Sunway Berhad, until 2008.
Over the following two decades, Rozario held several senior leadership positions, including Group Managing Director of Country Heights Holdings Berhad, Chief Executive Officer of Agensi Inovasi Malaysia, CEO of General Electric International Inc, Malaysia, and Group CEO of Tropicana Corporation Berhad.
Following his retirement in 2025, Rozario continued his involvement in the corporate sector through various non-executive directorships.
He currently serves as Non-Executive Chairman of QBE Insurance (M) Berhad, as well as Independent Non-Executive Director of Citibank Berhad and YTL Hospitality REIT.
Rozario holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science and has completed the Senior Management Program at Harvard Business School.
He is also a Fellow of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia.
