Sheraton Petaling Jaya Hotel has announced the appointment of Azvil Aziz as General Manager, effective 1 September 2026.
Azvil brings more than 30 years of hospitality leadership experience spanning Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. Most recently, he served as General Manager of Impiana KLCC Hotel. Prior to that, he held senior leadership roles across hotel operations, sales and marketing, business development, and multi-property management. Throughout his career, he has earned a reputation for building high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Known for his approachable leadership style, Azvil’s philosophy centres on a strong commitment to people, collaboration, and belonging. He believes that great hospitality begins with teams who feel valued, empowered, and inspired, cultivating an environment where associates can thrive and guests feel genuinely welcomed.
Azvil joins the property just ahead of its 9th anniversary celebrations next month, marking nine years of welcoming business travellers, creating dining moments, hosting events and weddings, and bringing the Petaling Jaya community together.
