DSR Taiko Berhad and the Pahang State Development Corporation have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on establishing a verified origin standard and digitising export traceability for Pahang Musang King durians.
Under the agreement, DSR will create an Authentication, Certification, and Verification System, introducing the PMSK origin label as the trusted mark of authenticity and quality.
The initiative is to complement the state’s “Pahang First” agenda and protects its most valuable premium agricultural asset,
benefiting both local growers and consumers worldwide.
Participating local growers can tag their harvest with the PMSK origin label that functions as a digital passport to counter false origin claims, secure better pricing, and access high-value international markets. The label is secured by the Musang King Integrated Tracking System enabling consumers to easily verify and purchase genuine, quality-controlled fruit.
