The CARSOME M.V.15 Inspection Centre in Sungai Buloh has been officially launched, bringing together professional vehicle inspection services and automotive training under one roof.
The facility is authorised to conduct vehicle ownership transfer inspections, the centre integrates its inspection operations with CARSOME Academy’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programmes, creating opportunities to develop a skilled and industry-ready automotive workforce.
Carsome said all inspections are conducted in accordance with requirements set by the relevant authorities, with inspectors accredited under Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Inspection, providing them with technical skills and practical capabilities beyond the minimum licensing requirement.
With a capacity of up to 90 inspections per day and approximately 2,300 inspections per month, the centre is equipped to handle higher inspection volumes while maintaining a transparent and efficient inspection process.
“The opening of this M.V.15 inspection centre is a positive development following the liberalisation of vehicle inspection services, giving vehicle owners greater choice and access to inspection facilities,” said YB Anthony Loke Siew Fook, Minister of Transport Malaysia.
Loke also stated that fees charged for inspection will be unformed and similar to Puspakom.
