Sapura Resources Bhd’s indirect wholly owned subsidiary Invation Aero Sdn Bhd (IASB) has commenced a creditors’ voluntary winding-up process after shareholders and creditors met on Sept 14, 2026.
Sapura Resources said Tan Kee Huat and Lam Lee San of Norvic Corporate Services Sdn Bhd were appointed as joint and/or several liquidators during the creditors’ meeting to oversee the winding-up.
IASB had previously been involved in the sale of rotary-wing and fixed-wing aircraft, as well as the provision of maintenance, repair and overhaul services for aircraft and helicopters.
The company also provided programmes involving wet and dry leasing of aircraft and helicopters.
However, IASB has since ceased business operations and is currently dormant.
As at Aug 31, 2026, IASB was in a shareholders’ deficit and had net current liabilities of RM1.18 million.
Sapura Resources said IASB is not considered a major subsidiary under Bursa Malaysia’s Main Market Listing Requirements.
The group added that the winding-up is not expected to have any material impact on its earnings, net assets, gearing or operations, and that Sapura Resources is not expected to incur any material loss from the exercise.
Sapura Resources said it would assist and cooperate with the liquidators to facilitate the winding-up process.
The company also said none of its directors, major shareholders or persons connected with them has any direct or indirect interest in the creditors’ voluntary winding-up.
