Bursa Malaysia ended slightly higher today, with the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) gaining 1.38 points or 0.08% to 1,666.94.
The index traded between an intraday high of 1,674.74 and a low of 1,661.22.
Broader market indices were mostly lower, with the FBM70 falling 154.88 points or 0.87% to 17,689.14, while the FBMEMAS eased 13.11 points or 0.11% to 12,398.61.
The FBM Shariah Index declined 75.23 points or 0.61% to 12,236.76, while the F4GBM slipped 0.42 points or 0.04% to 1,005.33.
Hengyuan led the gainers, rising RM1 to RM4.34 on 22.91 million shares traded. Samaiden added 43 sen to RM2.38, while Hong Leong Bank and Solarvest each gained 36 sen to RM22.90 and RM3.69 respectively.
Among the top decliners, Time dotCom fell 55 sen to RM5.86, SunCon shed 45 sen to RM7.43 and Petronas Gas declined 30 sen to RM17.20.
Zetrix was the most actively traded counter with 275.71 million shares changing hands, followed by JAKS with 119.31 million shares and FSBM with 71.56 million shares.
AirAsia Group was also among the actively traded stocks, with 55.44 million shares changing hands at 53 sen.
