MCE Holdings Bhd has secured two automotive component projects involving Proton and India-based Deva Autotronics Private Ltd, with the contracts expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings from the financial year ending July 31, 2028.
For the Proton project, MCE said component supply is expected to commence in FY2028, subject to Proton’s programme and production schedules, and is expected to run for 84 months.
Based on Proton’s current indicative production volumes, the project is expected to generate approximately RM15.69 million in revenue for the MCE Group over the supply period, against estimated investment costs of about RM197,000.
The company cautioned that the revenue estimate is based on current indicative production volumes and remains subject to actual order quantities, production schedules, market demand and other relevant factors.
Separately, MCE’s 55%-owned Indian subsidiary, MCE Abhishek K Auto Components Private Ltd, has secured a contract from Deva Autotronics for the design and development of mechatronic components for commercial vehicles in India.
