Rapid KL has advised commuters on the Kelana Jaya Line to expect delays and longer waiting times following technical issues involving a train’s brake system and a door malfunction.
In a service update, Rapid KL said a train that experienced a brake failure has been safely removed from service. However, train frequency is currently being regulated, resulting in slightly longer waiting times for passengers.
The operator said services are expected to return to normal shortly.
In a separate incident, Rapid KL said a train at Pasar Seni Station is being manually operated due to a door system malfunction.
The issue is expected to cause slower train movements across the line, with trains making longer stops at station platforms.
Commuters have been advised to plan their journeys accordingly and stay updated through Rapid KL’s official service channels.
