Econpile Bags RM48.8 Million KL Service Apartment Foundation Works

Piling and foundation specialist Econpile Holdings Bhd has secured a RM48.8 million contract to carry out specialist bored pile and foundation works for a 74-storey serviced apartment development along Jalan Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur.

The contract was awarded by Vestland Berhad’s wholly owned subsidiary, Vestland Infra Sdn Bhd, to Econpile’s wholly owned unit, Econpile (M) Sdn Bhd. It covers foundation works for a single-tower development featuring basement facilities, integrated car parks, retail lots and ancillary components.

Spanning 16 months, the project will commence site works on July 7, 2026, with completion targeted for November 2027. The contract is expected to contribute to Econpile’s earnings from the financial year ending June 30, 2027 (FY27) onwards.

The latest win brings Econpile’s total contract awards for FY26 to RM404 million, while its outstanding order book now exceeds RM500 million, providing earnings visibility through FY28.

Group Chief Executive Officer Raymond Pang said surpassing RM400 million in new wins reflects continued industry confidence in the company’s geotechnical expertise.

He added that the group remains optimistic about its replenishment pipeline, supported by a strong balance sheet and resilient demand drivers, including high-rise property developments, infrastructure projects and industrial expansion.

Econpile currently has 25 ongoing projects across the Klang Valley and Penang, including two Penang LRT packages worth RM96.8 million and a RM98.2 million industrial project in Klang.
