Rolls-Royce Turns A Classic Suit Into A Luxury Car

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has unveiled the Ghost Savile Row, a one-of-one Ghost Extended commission inspired by the craft of British tailoring and the traditions of London’s Savile Row.

The model draws from the style of Savile Row suits, with a two-tone Midnight Sapphire over English White exterior based on the classic combination of a navy suit and white shirt. A hand-painted Silver Featureline replaces the usual coachline, referencing details commonly found in formal accessories such as cufflinks and watches.

Inside, the same tailoring influences continue through the cabin. The interior features Navy Blue and Arctic White leather, Selby Grey stitching and a vertical run-stitch on the seats inspired by pinstriped suits. It is the first time Rolls-Royce has applied this stitch style to its seat design.

The most detailed element is hidden from immediate view. Beneath the rear centre armrest is an embroidered panel depicting the courtyard trees at Rolls-Royce’s Goodwood home. The design uses seven colours, 250,000 stitches and 1,830 metres of thread. It took nine hours to complete and is the most complex single-frame embroidery produced by Rolls-Royce.

Beyond the embroidery, smaller cabin details continue the theme, including Open Pore White Wood veneer on the fascia, steering wheel spoke and door panels, along with leather-wrapped controls finished with matching stitching.

The Ghost Savile Row is part of Rolls-Royce’s wider bespoke programme, which focuses on creating individual commissions based on client preferences and will be presented at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
