Johor Bahru’s growing reputation as a lifestyle and culinary destination has reached new heights with the opening of SOLENE, a luxury rooftop restaurant and bar perched atop SKS Tower.
Officially opening its doors on July 15, SOLENE is the latest concept by The Olive Tree Group, offering diners panoramic views of the city skyline alongside a contemporary Latin American-inspired dining experience.
Located on Level 26 of SKS Tower in Bukit Senyum, the venue combines elevated dining with refined interiors, positioning itself as one of Johor Bahru’s highest and most distinctive hospitality destinations.
Rather than simply offering another fine dining venue, SOLENE has been designed as a social destination where guests can enjoy everything from sunset drinks and intimate dinners to celebrations against the backdrop of the city’s skyline.
The menu centres on bold Latin American flavours crafted using premium ingredients and modern techniques, while also featuring a dedicated vegetarian selection. Complementing the food is an extensive wine collection sourced from renowned wine-producing regions, alongside a cocktail programme that blends timeless classics with contemporary mixology.
The restaurant’s interiors draw inspiration from contemporary luxury with subtle Art Deco touches. Bronze ceiling features, cascading crystal chandeliers, burgundy drapery and lush greenery create a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere, while floor-to-ceiling windows maximise the sweeping city views.






Designed to cater for a range of occasions, SOLENE accommodates up to 200 guests in its main indoor dining area, complete with a private VIP lounge. An intimate rooftop terrace with seating for 24 offers an open-air experience for those looking to enjoy Johor Bahru’s skyline under the stars.
