Crest Builder 1H26 PATAMI Surges 35.8% To RM6.6 Million

Crest Builder Holdings Bhd’s (CBHB) profit after tax and minority interest (PATAMI) surged 35.8% year-on-year to RM6.6 million for the first half of 2026 (1H26), underpinned by accelerated execution across its construction projects.

Cumulative revenue jumped 71.1% to RM436.9 million from RM255.4 million, led by the construction segment, where revenue climbed 87.3% to RM362.6 million.

Property development revenue increased 33.5% to RM50.5 million, supported by ongoing projects including Interpoint at Bukit Tinggi, Klang and Centrix at Jalan Ampang, while investment segment revenue rose 19.5% to RM5.7 million.

For the second quarter, revenue surged 83.7% to RM259.2 million from RM141.1 million a year earlier, while PATAMI grew 7.9% to RM2.8 million.

Construction remained the key growth driver, nearly doubling revenue to RM218.4 million and accounting for 84.2% of group revenue.

Property development revenue rose 51.7% to RM29 million, while the investment segment contributed RM2.8 million, up 29.9%.

As at June 30, CBHB’s outstanding order book stood at approximately RM1.9 billion, providing earnings visibility for the coming financial years.

Group Managing Director Eric Yong said the group will continue pursuing commercially viable projects through disciplined tendering and prudent project selection, while recurring concession income and its growing property development pipeline are expected to complement construction earnings.

Yong added that the group will remain focused on cost management and resource optimisation amid persistent cost pressures and geopolitical uncertainties.
