Capital A Bhd has appointed Chuah Sue Yin as an independent non-executive director with effect from Sept 15, 2026.
The 55-year-old is currently the managing partner of PCCO Group, where she oversees the group’s finance and operations and is involved in financial reporting, audit, due diligence, tax compliance and consultancy, as well as human resources-related services.
Chuah has more than 31 years of working experience and holds several professional licences in Malaysia, including as a registered auditor approved by the Ministry of Finance, a registered auditor of public interest entities and a licensed tax agent.
She is also a GRI Certified Sustainability Professional.
Chuah holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Science with Second Class Upper Honours from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom.
She is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, a chartered accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, a member of the ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountant body, an associate member of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia and a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia.
She currently serves as a director of BP Plastics Holding Bhd and Tokio Marine Life Insurance Malaysia Bhd.
Capital A said Chuah has no family relationship with any director or major shareholder of the company and no conflict of interest with the group.
She holds a direct interest of 243,000 ordinary shares in Capital A.
