GTA Holdings Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Global Turbine Asia Sdn Bhd, has extended its long-term engine support agreement with Gading Kasturi Sdn Bhd until Sept 30, 2028.
The extension covers the existing Support By The Hour agreement for Safran Helicopter Engines Arrius 2F-powered Airbus EC120B helicopters used for aviation training operations in Malaysia.
Under the agreement, Global Turbine will continue providing engine maintenance, standard exchange support, spare parts and related services aimed at improving fleet availability and operational reliability.
The programme currently supports five EC120B helicopters operated by Gading Kasturi for training purposes.
GTA managing director and CEO Dato’ Nonee Ashirin Dato Mohd Radzi said the extension reflects the importance of long-term support arrangements in strengthening aviation readiness and fleet sustainment.
The agreement was formalised during the GTA Customer Symposium 2026, which brought together aviation operators, original equipment manufacturers and industry partners to discuss fleet readiness, maintenance and technical capability development.
